I have always loved port of subs for a good basic sub. I’m not sure how it got to be so expensive though and if the pieces went up recently. They charge $4.00 for two tiny flimsy pieces of bacon which seems a bit expensive considering you can buy a pound of bacon for $4 or less at the grocery store. If I didn’t tell you this sandwich had bacon it you wouldn’t know it from the pic.

This is a wonderful place to eat. I grew up on Port Sub. The owner here is so wonderful. I know how to make the sandwiches just like they do in Reno. They don’t Skimp on their toppings at all. They make these so right way the Reno way.

We LOVE Port of Subs/Smoothie King. We have been coming here for years. The owners (husband and wife) are 2 of the nicest people you’d ever meet. Always welcoming you in with a “Hello” and a smile. The food, sandwiches and smoothies are always delicious and consistently good. Go there and have a nice meal and feel welcomed. (My wife LOVES her Pineapple Surf and doesn’t even have to order it! They just know as soon as she walks in) 😊
