The team working this Potbelly is the best staff I have ever experienced. They were absolutely FANTASTIC, during a busy Saturday lunch hour, Easter Weekend, during the Collegiate Mems and Womens Club Volleyball Championships. They were efficient, got complicated orders correct, and handled the orders of whole teams of players effortlessly. The four girls working this shop are all headed to bigger and better things, but if you want to experience the nation’s best Potbelly Sandwich shop, you need to get to Phoenix before they get promoted!!! Well dome ladies. Give that team a raise!!!

What a mess this place is during lunch time. They really need to get a better system for mobile orders. Place an order 30 minutes in advance and still wait almost 30 minutes past my pick up time for a single sandwich. 2 people making food for the whole place and mobile orders. They are piled up on the back counter, you can’t even get the cashier to talk to you. This was at 11:45 before the night of the lunch rush. They have a whole stand when you walk in for mobile pick up and it’s empty because the orders aren’t being loaded on the shelves. They are piled up on the back counter like an assembly line that’s backed up. Food was not bad when I finally got it but that is crazy. Order places at 11:16 for 1145 pick up, food received in hand at 12:13. 1 sandwich and a bag of chips. I think I will stick with Taco Bell.

My work got sandwich boxes catered from this location. I'm vegan so I ordered a specific vegan sandwich. The sandwich was super basic and hardly had vegetable like it looked like a loaf a bread when i unwrapped it. And the box also comes with chips and a cookie. They put chips and cookies inside my box that weren't vegan.

The food is fantastic. Staff were great but didn’t seem super friendly but I get it. They did their jobs good and made fantastic sandwiches!! The Avo Turkey and Italian sandwiches are great. The place has a rustic feel which is very nice and they also offer outdoor seating if the weather permits. I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking to get some sandwiches for lunch.

These guys handled the crowd just fine. No one seemed angry. The employees remained calm even with the 50+ line of people who were about to go see Third Eye Blind & Weezer at Chase Field. There was chaos in there, but we still got our order accurately filled by the dudes & even got a smile & a thank you from the girl who checked me out. She was multitasking like I never could, all the while being super courteous & kind to me & other patrons. I didn't get her name, but kudos to that unknown girl up front in the photo. If she's not the manager, well she sure looks like one. We need to promote this girl. My sister & I tried the Cubano sub for the first time & loved it. As per usual, the broccoli cheese soup was excellent. These guys actually had fresh black tea on hand. What a concept. Other Potbellys should take notes. Although they should stock the Sugar In The Raw packets I've seen at some other ones for us to sweeten our tea, it was fine. Thank you, Potbelly downtown and thank you, supervisory type unknown girl.

Put in a mobile order that is 45 minutes over due and they’re still serving walk ins. I could have gone through the walk in line 5 times by now. Not sure what the point of scheduling pick up was or why 45 minute over due orders are not processed ahead of walk ins.
Great service, cool Downton location. Bread was light and crispy with a nice chew. Peppers were actually spicy, wasn't expecting that but tasty. Got a whole ass pickle with my sandwich too. Delicous.

Cythia was an excellent communicator and extremely kind with introducing the menu : telling us about the app reminding us about Potbelly Double Points Thursdays & most importantly listing every ingredient that was going to be in both my sandwich and my salad : she’s a great multi tasker in this high volume store. JB was an excellent salad maker and spoke with kindness and compassion when he made the salad : I’m so happy to return and did pure reason of their customer service

It’s not the staffs fault, they don’t have enough workers at this location or they use bad processes. I eat here often for lunch, the line cooks are stuck making online orders while they try to keep up with the in person line and it doesn’t work. The wait times for in person order even when there is one person in front of you is 20 minutes because they have 20 online orders they have to get done. Sadly I’ll be finding another lunch spot, I like potbelly.
