We came on a Monday. It was closed. We didn't look to see the hours before coming here. We went back before the restaurant close permanently a few days later. We went a few days before May 30th closing date. I didn't see the owner. There were 2 employees behind the counter. We were told the kitchen was close. We came in at 7:10 pm. It supposed to close at 8:30 pm. But one staff allowed us to order only the pizzas but nothing else. We ordered the 14 in speciality...

This place has lived in my heart since Washington High School. Weekend nights, evenings with friends, our friend Debbie Scarpulla behind the counter — it was just home. The kind of spot you never think will disappear because it feels too permanent, too good.

Raphael's Pizza is a hole in the wall. Mom and pop restaurant that has been there for 50 years. Sadly, they're closing up shot at the end of this month, so swing by and grab a Sicilian lunch, special or a pepperoni sausage extralarge with a dozen wings.
