Our server Pop was great. Food was definitely very mid, I would come here for drinks and appetizers only. the steak is nothing beyond normal. The crab dip was fishy. Oysters were fresh.
Rough Rider has a great underground vibe and cool speakeasy atmosphere, but the meal fell short on value and communication. I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon with spinach Florentine sauce for $40. While the flavor was good, the piece of fish was extremely small and served on sauce with no substantial sides included. Entrees here are essentially a la carte, but our server didn't explain this or suggest adding sides to round out the plate.

Ordered the west coast experience, happy birthday Mr president and roses by the elevator. I thought the drinks were okay but nothing to rave about but my husband loved them all.
The speakeasy underground atmosphere was really cool. The bartender was friendly.
The food menu looked good, id come back to try another drink and some food.
