I went in for drinks and dinner. Great service. The cesar salad was great, shrimp cocktail was fine (was expecting some bigger shrimp), but the chicory rubbed duck breast was amazing! They cooked it well and it was very flavorfu. My favorite part was the vibe: dark and woodsy, upscale feels but not stuffy. Location is great with plenty of other places to go before or after within walking distance. To enter, you have to take an elevator down, which was unclear when I walked into...
The food and service were great. This place isn’t “cheap” but a lot of places are expensive but overpriced. This place was really good. $30 for an Old Fashioned but it was really good. The food is great and paired well. It is kind of hard to find, it’s in the basement of a building you have to go to the middle elevator of the building and it’s downstairs. The service was great. Drinks were great. I have nothing negative to say.
So fun! A speakeasy with great ambience, food and service - can’t ask for more! Ask for “Pops” - the best, most knowledgeable server who brought us the best oysters we’ve ever had, recommended dishes and an after dinner drink I’d never had before. The pork chop is a house favorite. We had a very cozy booth but next time I think we’ll try sitting at the sushi bar as we very much enjoyed the sushi appetizer. A great date night!
