I will remember the meal for years to come. Every thing was prepared with the level of care and precision you would expect from a James Beard nominated restaurant. I look forward to seeing where they find their new space after 5/30/2025.
Always delicious with large portions. Try the honchos (mushrooms) and the salmon steak with a mescal buerre blanc. You won't be sorry! And go quick-they are closing May 31st. Hopefully to resurrect somewhere soon!
A lovely cocktail at the bar while waiting for family to arrive. Bartender was genuinely interested in preferences to craft an exquisite martini. Dinner with three generations pleased everyone at the table. Many yummy options, no problem with special requests. An exceptional option when conversation, food, drink & comfort matter greatly! Highly recommended.
They did not have my reservation when I arrived. I had to show the Open Table confirmation. After a few minutes of that they finally sat us but everything felt rushed since they closed 30 minutes after our reservation.
Brunch was so good at Santo, I'm happy I got to try it before they close at the end of the month!

First time visit, sat at the bar with a friend. Excellent experience with the bartenders. Very inspired cocktails, great service, and absolutely amazing food. The mushroom appetizer, delicata squash salad, and chili glazed salon were perfection!

One of my favorite spots in Phoenix. The best part is there is no bench seating so people are sitting on top of you as you eat - tables are very well distanced and you get a sense of privacy. The food is absolutely exceptional.
Very good Mexican restaurant with a modern take on the food. The cocktails are especially good and they compliment the menu. The pulpo was amazingly good as were the tacos. Service is also very good. Every dish had a unique taste that brought out the flavors of the dish.

I don't feel like my review will move the needle at all but I can attest that it's worth any praise coming it's way. It's already been well reviewed and I agree that it's a great meal. I've eaten here before and never been disappointed and usually "wowed" with something on the menu. Great beans and delicious flour tortillas to accompany it. You can't go wrong ordering any protein and the portions are extremely generous. Bacanora, Espiritu Mesa and the Chiwas group in general are spectacular. Get the beans. If you have to, make it a side order with tortillas. You will come back here frequently, guaranteed.

The food is unique and very tasty! Our server seemed a bit green overall, but we were there with a group and did not seem rushed out the door or to make any decisions, which was very much appreciated. We will definitely be coming back!
The experience and service were outstanding, and the food was a full nod to amazing. The birria dumplings were so good, I could have had them as my main course! The bartender listened to my "adventure" drink order, and I was delighted with what he created just for me. This would be a great place for a birthday, a special event. a date or just a chill weeknight dinner for great food and relaxing vibes. Today was extra special to have the leftovers for lunch. I would highly recommend trying this place, and the valet parking is helpful but be sure to bring cash to tip the awesome attendants.
The food was delicious. I had the birria dumplings (part of regular menu), flat iron steak (don't think this is part of normal menu), and pistachio ice cream as part of restaurant week Sept 2024. The ambiance, staff, and food were all outstanding.
