I don’t understand what happened to this place; it has been one of my favorite sushi places for the past ten years. We came at 8:15 PM, and the doors were locked. A young lady appeared from inside and asked if we had a to-go pick-up. She indicated they were not closed but wouldn’t allow us to place an order to go, even though they close at 9 PM.P.S. If you’re closed, turn off your Open sign!

Went here for my birthday was pleasantly surprised, the service was amazing and the food was both timely and delicious. Nikhil is one of the best waiters I’ve had and he genuinely made my birthday amazing. He was patient and very informative I will 100% be coming back.

Nikhil took care of us even though we were kind of inconsiderate. We showed up late and he took our orders in segments because we were all drunk. Sushi was fresh. Thank you so much!!!

Not for me. Restaurant seemed dirty. First impression is big for me. Black carpet looked dirty. Table felt sticky. We still gave it a try. Bento box was ok. Teriyaki chicken was warm, salad was sad, sushi was lop sided. Overall 2 stars. Waiter was nice.

Was looking forward to trying this place out and was not disappointed. The establishment was well cleaned and tables were being wiped down. The food was excellent and the presentation was just as good; recommend the Shogun Roll. Would refer to anyone who enjoys sushi.

We have gone here once or twice a year for quite some time and this was the worst the food has been. I got tempura and katsu. The chicken was so tough I couldn’t cut it will a fork and the veggies were very under done that a fork wouldn’t cut through the sweet potato or zucchini.

I rarely go out of my way to give feedback, but this place wasn’t very good. The tables were sticky, the flooring is old black carpet that needs replaced, the booths sink in and are in need of replacement and it was just very unkept and outdated. The dirt and grime within the entire seating areas makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is.The presentation of the food was quite disappointing. Very inexperienced chefs who were preparing the sushi. They were more like squares with the rice and fish falling off the rolls. The rice was uneven and thick in some areas and thin in others. I ordered my daughter steak teriyaki and was mushy with no vegetables. Now, the flavor wasn’t terrible, but this restaurant needs MAJOR TLC. I got the vibe that the owner is cheap and doesn’t want to invest in improvements for a better customer experience. The staff and hospitality were poor. They could have been more friendly and welcoming, but I feel as if they see the gaps within the business.A woman was vacuuming the old black carpet right where my family was eating. Nothing like a good dusty smell in the air while eating sushi. This place needs major work, staff training and updates. It has potential if someone cared and was willing to put more thought into everything. Our bill wasn’t very much compared to other sushi restaurants which tells me they’re struggling financially and may not be able to afford the necessary improvements. Perhaps invest in what needs replacing, train the team and raise the prices. Just a thought..

Very disappointed in the food. The lemon chicken bowl did not taste like chicken or lemon, the bowl was more than 3/4 rice.Sushi rolls were loose and falling apart.Too expensive for the lack of quality.I will not be returning here. Should have gone to Wendy's act as the street.

Teriyaki chicken was good but very little chicken.. service took forever, understaffed. Bar goes unnoticed.

I used to eat here alot. The food is pretty good. My parents love the place. Alot of people do. But to me, the service is not what it used to be. Four times, on 4 separate occasions the same treatment has occurred. Three of these occasions, after arriving just around 8pm, I was ignored. Like, not just passed by, but full on ignored. Group of servers laughing and joking at the bar area ignoring anyone who comes in.This has happened solo, with friends, with family. Why do you say you're open until 9? Just change it to 8 if that's when you're kitchen closes. Or put that on your sign, I don't know. I'm just tired of trying to have good food only to be turned away because someone there just can't be bothered.

The sushi bar is great but a little thick than what I’m used to. The katsudon is great and soup and the cucumber salads are tasty.

If you’re looking to spend a lot of money for poor and ugly looking sushi, this place is right for you. In our time there we’ve never been asked how everything was or if it’s all good. The sushi was poorly made contents falling out and our Las Vegas roll was a buttload of cream cheese and warm not fresh hot. You could go to a belt sushi place and you’ll have much better sushi at the 1/3 of the price. Another point is it was expensive you’d expect high quality and lovely presentation. Nope honestly I’d give this place 0 rating.

Went to shogun on a Friday night, food was fast except for the sushi but it was well worth the wait. Annalise was a great server and was very attentive. Definitely would do another sake bomb at this place

Definitely one of the worst “Sushi” restaurants I’ve been to. I’m not sure they could call this sushi. You can tell it’s not fresh and it’s made sloppy. Not to mention the waitress was terrible and not once filled my drink. We are sushi obsessed and will never come back here. Don’t waste your money or time.
