On June 8, 2024, we were on a 3 day vacation at the JW Marriot Camelback Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Although the JW Marriot Resort had their own onsite Starbucks, my husband and I decided to go the next nearest Starbuck on the E-bikes we rented from the resort. The Starbucks location was at 3165 E. I hate everything about Starbucks. I haven't willingly patronized a store in 20 years. If I'm driving through a small town and Starbucks is the only coffee shop, I'll get coffee from the gas station.Today I hiked nearby this location and when I left the mountain preserve on foot, I really needed a cold drink. The nearest non-Starbucks cafe was over a mile's walk away, so I begrudgingly sucked it up and came here for a black tea lemonade.The employees were fantastic....
Great store, great staff. One of the few stores in Phoenix that is safe enough that they don't have to lock the restrooms or put red sharp object disposable boxes for hypodermic needles in the restrooms. They also don't wait until sunrise to open the lobby and close at sunset due to crime.
