Cool speakeasy and the bartenders are cool, but the bouncers not so much. They are typical bouncers that you meet at the local dive bar— can’t wait to assert their authority and are looking for trouble more than a drunk 20 year old trying to impress some girls that already “friend zoned” them.
Stardust pin bar is in the same building as ziggy's pizza. Go in to Ziggy's pizza. Go through the swinging doors and enter Stardust pin bar through the freezer door. The food from stardust pin bar comes from ziggy's pizza.
Stopped in before a show at the Van buren, drinks tasted great; pizza was good. Only downside was the service was a bit slow but it was also post baseball game, pre concert rush. So I’m not going to take a star off for that. Will have to go back
