The Swizzle is a Phoenix institution that's been around for years. If you like small local bars this is it. Weekend nights this place is packed and always has great music playing.
Food is at the discretion of the owner. She's a great cook and brings in everything from soups to whatever she feels like cooking. Don't count on food every day, however. When she brings something in, you help yourself at no cost.
Quintessential dive bar with cheap drinks. The U shaped bar is nice, but very limited seating so get there early. There are a few tables, but this place is small and fills up in the late evening.
