I'm sad to say that Taco Boys has gone downhill. The meat used to be very flavorful, smoky, and satisfying. The last two times I tried it, it had considerably less of that smoky flavor profile I crave. It just tasted like a bog-standard carne asada burrito that you could get almost anywhere else in Arizona. Where did the character go? The service and atmosphere are still the same, but I can no longer recommend going here in good faith.
I love Taco Boys, but when I order and I am continuously left without any salsa in my order it makes me want to take my business elsewhere. I am not sure if this is a driver issue, or Taco Boys not packaging salsa into the order. Either way, I will no longer be ordering from here again until this issue is fixed.
Im not a fan of their salsa island when its busy but their food is great, tasty and i do enjoy eating from their about 95% of the time. Like many busy restuarants they get their hicups but If you want something tasty and simple I recomend them, in addition to their cebollitas (grill onions) I love it more. Thanks for the good food
