I was underwhelmed by the food. I ordered the tacos al pastor and my husband ordered nachos al pastor. The meat on my tacos were cold, and the salsa verde was too watery to my liking. There wasn’t much flavor, and the tortillas were a little stale. I tasted my husbands nachos, because he told me the queso tasted like it was from a concession stand and he was right. There wasn’t anything that stood out about our meals, except for the unchewable bits in the nacho’s al pastor. The environment was upbeat, but the register guy was robotic, like he didn’t want to communicate. Will not be coming back here and its not worth the try. Sorry but just being honest.

They are super nice there and they have guacamole on their salsa bar. So good. Definitely in the top taco spots in Phoenix.

I heard good things about this place on Reddit but the Al pastor was very tasteless…

Great tacos and do all the sauces/salsa at the salsa bar, it's delicious. The jalapenos and onions are a delicious addition. They were all tasty, can't go wrong on taco meat. Maybe Al Pastor was the winner but all quite good.

The food was okay nothing really special. Truthfully, think the place is a bit overpriced, but then again it’s downtown. Overall, more of a forgettable place to eat.Parking sucks

Out of my 5 years in Phoenix, this is the best, most authentic Mexican food in my opinion. It’s always a 10/10, very reasonably priced, and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Tacos = 7/10, the meat wasn't very moist and could use more flavor.
Not sure why I've been told it is one of the best taco places in AZ. The chairs weren't very comfortable to sit in either.

In my opinion, the best Carne Asada Tacos in the Valley are made at this restaurant. The salsa bar options are free and great for making your tacos to your liking. The staff is always friendly and the service is fast. The restaurant itself is very clean and spacious. The only odd thing about this place is how empty it is every time I go, compared to other taco places in the area. This place is always a hit with me, so I find it strange that it's never full because the food is delicious.
