Went in on 4/20 and man. Parking was damn near impossible. I honesty think it may have been because of 4/20 at cheba hut. But maybe wrong?Parking either way is limited since it’s shared.Food is ? (I’m craving them again just writing this. ?)Service was great and quick.Salsas are all amazing and serves all taste buds.Price point seemed normal. $38 for 8 - carne asada tacos and 2 bottles of coke.

The place was spacious, clean, had great service and fresh food. I dined-in with my family and we got 2 mulitas (1 carned asada, 1 pollo), tacos al pastor, carne asada, cabeza. The mulitas were delicious - nice and cheesy with tender meat. The meat in the tacos al pastor was juicy but lacked flavor. The carne asada tacos were the best. They were flavorful and the meat was tender. The tacos de cabeza were flavorful and tender. They have a condiment bar (onions, cilantro, hot sauce, avocados, lime, etc). Note: I only have pics of tacos (2 al pastor, 1 carne asada)

The quesadilla was just laying in a pool of grease. The absolute worst food I’ve had in a very long time. Also forgot the queso in the to go order. Do not recommend.

Great atmosphere great service, but the food was average or below average.I bought al pastor meat, and as expected and as is with most places, it was very undercooked. And believe me, you do not want to eat undercooked pork meat. Then, I know it's less work for them, and more customization options for you, but you cannot serve street type tacos without cilantro and onion in the taco. The cut-up limes were several days old. The burrito must have been a junior burrito because it was tiny. And the prices are high. Definitely not good value.

I’m absolutely astounded that people are rating this place so highly. The food is low quality. Carne asada was basically bistec (no flavor), corn tortillas were soggy and barely cooked, and the guac… oh they robbed me for that one. They had me pay for chips and guac when all they did for the “guac” was hand me a small plastic tub and point at the salsa bar that had this green goop. Apparently this is actually avocado POWDER. THAT IS ABSURD. Nothing else in it. Not tomatoes, onions, lime juice, and NO REAL AVOCADOS. The fact that other people had access to this too and didn’t have to pay for the same exact thing that I paid for…?? Other people could get 4 of the small salsa cups and get the same amount pf “guac” I got, for free… Make that make sense!Find another taco place. This place is not worth any money. One of the employees was rude as well. Don’t waste your time or money.

Edit!! The owner is awesome and responsive. I complained about the meat and he said when I don't like it to bring it to their attention. Customer service is A plus!! I'll come back!! Just cross my finger I won't get fatty meat but that's out of their control. Great place! Better than Taco boys!Food is usually good but it sucked today. Carne asada was all fatty. I wish they would use the same meat. This makes me not want to come back.

Went there with some colleagues after a conference. The food was fantastic. I got a carne asada burrito and a cheese quesadilla. Both were top tier. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and polite. The atmosphere was lively, but things like the music and TV weren't invasive so we could still hold a conversation. Prices might seem a little high to some, but they are absolutely for the value Tacos Calafia has to offer. I will absolutely visit there again.
