Visiting from Dallas and decided to try this place first in AZ. The al pastor gorditas were amazing and the tacos and burritos were also solid! Definitely recommend.

We researched on Google for a place for dinner and choose Tacos Chiwas. We are so glad that we did.!!! The tacos were absolutely delicious, and there was an amazing variety of selections. We ordered, ate, then ordered more..!!! The staff was super friendly and we highly recommend this place to all..!!!!

Tortilla and meat were cold. Our table ordered roughly 20 tacos, and all of them came out like that. I would spend your money elsewhere.

They were featured on Triple D so we went. The place is cute and clean. The decor is a bit rustic but nicely done. I went for the barbacoa. Now a lot places say they serve barbacoa only to serve roast beef or some other slow roasted beef. That is NOT barbacoa. Chiwas serves actual slow cooked BEEF CHEEKS. And man do they deliver in taste. I highly recommend the barbacoa burrito. Heck get 2 as they are a bit on the small size but HUGE in the taste department. The service is hospitable but not overly cheerful, not rude just you do it all.
I recommend you try them. Also get the barbacoa tacos (you'll need 4 - not big at all) or the burrito.

I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re hungry maybe if you wanna get drunk and spend all your money out of your wallet No drink special no nothing I give this two thumbs down 😑
