Taculichi is by far the best restaurant around. It's really hard to pick just one or three thing. Everytime I go I have to try something new. And it never disappoint. I stay in Avondale and Im happy to make the little drive. If not for just the food but the hospitality from the owners. They really know how to make you feel welcome.
Overall it was good. The pastor and asada taste like it was grilled al carbon and when you bite into the taco, the tortilla was too dry. I ended up putting a lot of salsa and lemon and it was tasty . The chicken was okay, nothing special. The al pastor was not al trompo like I usually like it.
It’s a very small family owned place. Food is good, and the staff is all very friendly and nice. If you haven’t tried this place before then give it a try to see for yourself. Either way you won’t disappointed.
