The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

This was my very first time at this location, though I’ve been to a few others in town. I stopped in to get my usual cold brew with cream on the side and was told that they didn’t do that because they don’t have anything to put the cream on the side in. I guess at this location they don’t give them little cups or things like that but I also don’t know how to gauge how much cream I want until you see it in the coffee. It’s my only weird specific thing because I just hate over creamed coffee.
And I also asked for sweetener on the side and she made it seem like they had to put everything in it instead of me doing it myself, which was very bizarre. The girl that took my order at the register looked like she was possibly a manager, but I’m not really sure. I didn’t get her name.
I did greet her with a smile, but she barely budged a smile for me. I still tipped as a courtesy
I waited for my order patiently because I always have patience at coffee shops because it does take a long time sometimes. I do find it rather crappy that they’ll take care of three people going through the drive-through before the only person they have at their register that ordered. But what can you do.
I just think that should be a priority at least, maybe two drive-through’s and then the person in front of you but I’m not gonna harp on that.
The reason why I gave it three stars is because I love their cold brew and I thought the location was very pretty inside and the three other girls that were running around making coffee seemed very very nice and they were very helpful to me and I did appreciate it.
Though this location is actually the closest to my house, I doubt I’ll return here again. As someone who’s worked in Customer Service and in retail for the majority of my life, including Nordstrom where we have the best customer service, I expect at least the basics.
I think if a customer greets you with a smile, you should probably smile back to them. Just my personal opinion, I guess.

This is a nice, quiet place to have a conversation over a cup of tea or coffee. A good, clean environment with kind positive service.

But just like most coffee locations these days, a cold brew with a splash of vanilla tastes mostly like vanilla chocolate milk. I think my large may have had barely 25% actual coffee, and the rest was syrup, sugar, and milk. There should be a chart on the wall that shows the ratios before I spend $6.50 on a large chocolate milk.

I used the drive through so I can't speak for the inside. There was no line and the guy was nice enough. The burritos are pre-made so no ability to change them, and they were out of stock. I got a flatbread sandwich instead. I think circle k has better sandwiches. The Frappuccino-style drink I got tasted great, but would have preferred it less runny and more ice-blended texture. This was my first time here so I'm not sure if they're usually like that. Prices were a little better than starbucks.

Enjoyed my hazelnut latte with oat milk, it was very creamy and earthy. Been here several times now and it is a very friendly casual modern dining area. I met a friend here one time and it was a nice place to sit & talk. Also, it is a good place to chill and I noticed several other patrons bringing in light computer work and completing phone calls. Overall I highly recommend for some caffeine & downtime!

I decided to never go here again. Drinks are always amazing. Service is always subpar. Employees are not warm or friendly. They also won't honor coupons that are emailed to customers. App always has issues. Kate the manager was very rude and unpleasant. Drinks are amazing, but I won't go back until someone from the company resolves my bad experience. I'm remaining a Karen on this.
