Very quaint and pleasant spot for a date night or a small group outing. The food we had was solid in preparation and presentation. I had the braised ribs. They were very good. Not the best I've ever had, but still more than above average. We went here before a concert at the basketball arena (withholding the current name because it changes so much). Service was mostly attentive and polite. We were able to have a nice, relaxed meal with plenty of time to get to our seats.

Researched the best risotto in Phoenix and was excited to try it out at this restaurant. Spent 20 minutes walking here just to find out they were no longing offering this item. Server told me they change the menu often and their up-to-date menu is online (which is incorrect because I reviewed the menu online ahead of time to avoid this exact issue).

We were so excited to try this restaurant for my birthday on 11/14 but ended up so disappointed.

We had reservations for 7 pm .. but we didn’t get our drinks or appetizer until after 8 pm (timestamp included with the photo)

Our main dish finally came at about 9 pm and by that point, we were past the point of starving. Plus we ordered a second round of drinks that never came and we had to cancel before asking for our check.

To make matters worse, because we sat around waiting for so long, we missed our cocktail reservations for the place we planned to go after, losing out on a nonrefundable deposit.

Maybe we went to the restaurant on an off night when the place was short staffed, so we recognize that. Our server was friendly and apologetic when we paid, but overall, the experience was so disappointing.

We might try to give this place another try, but we aren’t eager to wait around for hours again.

What a charming restaurant. I love how they kept the rooms divided, as it was in the 1920’s. The parlor was darling and the dining room was perfect for an intimate dinner. The decor took me back to a bygone era.
The service was fantastic. We shared the dates, which were delicious, just needed a touch of salt or citrus to balance the dish better. I ordered the filet. Perfectly cooked—medium rare. But, the sauce was on the sweet side and really needed an acid to even it out. I did ask for salt and pepper for the entree which helped. But, not enough. I’d rather have it without the sauce next time. Maybe with a side of raw horseradish. The fingerling potatoes were perfectly cooked as was the asparagus. I’ll definitely come here again.

This was a last minute reservation. Charming place, house turned in to multi-roomed, themed restaurant. Very good food, appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere is its gem. I thought I took pictures, but I guess not, too immersed in the moment. But I had the duck, delicious!

What a nice little spot. The atmosphere is so relaxing and homey. There is a beautiful outdoor area and inside is unique as well. The staff were friendly and helpful.

5 Stars
We have been to many steakhouses and this was the most well cooked steak we have had. From the sear, to the sauce, and the perfect cook, it was delicious.
The Green Beans were so fresh and had a great but subtle crunch. The garlic and bacon worked perfectly.
What a fantastic Tiramisu. So light and amazing flavors. I loved the blueberries as it added a freshness and another layer of flavors.
The dates were cooked perfectly. Great balance of flavor and a delicious sauce.
The Le Mac was one of the best Macs we have had at any restaurant. It wasn’t too heavy and was a perfect amount of creamy.
The Knickerbocker drink was absolutely amazing. The raspberry puree really shined through.
The Espresso Martini was a perfect after dinner drink. Very well balanced.
The Rosemary Lemon Drop was delicious. The addition of the rosemary took this to another level.

4 Stars - The pork belly had great flavor! I just prefer my pork belly crispy. If they would broil these for 1-2 minutes it would be amazing!
The fingerling potatoes were very well seasoned and yummy. Again, we prefer them a little more crispy.
The Sweet Potatoes were simplistic and simple. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked.
The asparagus was fresh and for as large as they were, held together well and weren’t flimsy. They were a little lacking in seasoning but overall good.

We will definitely be back to try the short ribs and sea bass!

4**** = Set themselves a part with quality food and I want to go back.
5*****= You have to go out of your way and make a special trip to try the deliciousness that is there!

Came here for an outside reservation while it was raining. The lady at the door alluded to the reservation being outside — as though we would actually sit on wet chairs under the rain; it was a strange exchange. I would think they’d cancel a reservation before sitting people in the actual rain. We ultimately sat at the bar, and noticed the one vegetarian dish usually available was no longer in the menu. Disappointing to write off this place that I would periodically dine at.
