The BEST part of Roosevelt Row. Not only is the food delicious. But the environment is cute AND IF YOU SIT OUTSIDE THERE IS A CAT WHO LIKES TO COME BY AND HARASS YOU FOR FOOD. he made the whole trip!

Brought my boyfriend here for Valentine’s Day. Love the atmosphere. Very intimate, and being in a historic house is always neat.

Service was great, and the staff were very friendly. The food was pretty great as well. I had the Fillet Mignon (which was good) but my boyfriend a lasagna was VERY good. We also ordered the fingerling potatoes and the carrots which we both enjoyed.

Parking is sorta a nightmare though. We had to park .2 miles a way in a paid parking lot which costed us $33. Worth for the experience over all though.

Good bones but execution needs work.

The man I presume to be the new owner was VERY nice, he obviously cares very much, but I think there might be some process or quality control measures needed.

The atmosphere was good. The inside decor was adorable. The patio was cute.

The customer service itself was great. Our server and the host (who was the new owner) was great.

The food:

- The bread tasted mass produced but the compound butter was fantastic.
- The salad with garlic tomato’s was good.
- My filet came out cold, not only because it was left out (clearly) but because it was undercooked.
- The sautéed spinach was okay, the potatoes were good.
- It took an hour and fifteen minutes to get our entrees to come out and we had a 1:45 time limit.
- My daughter’s salmon piccata was decent. The sauce was a little thick, which made it taste Olive Garden adjacent.
- Then we got the flottante- a mistake was made somewhere, they put 3 freeze dried strawberries on top of the dish. No fresh strawberries. I’m pretty sure at that point our server was just like “omg ANOTHER issue for this table” and tried to keep it under the radar. Unfortunately it was obvious.
- Also - presentation. The flottant was a spatula plopped into the liquid - just putting it in a bag and piping it would have definitely made it look less like a preschool dessert project.

The restaurant has potential, but they might need a circulating manager to make sure food is run, supplies are available (like fresh strawberries) and food departing the kitchen is meeting presentation standards.

I’ll try this restaurant again eventually and update my review.

Very quaint and pleasant spot for a date night or a small group outing. The food we had was solid in preparation and presentation. I had the braised ribs. They were very good. Not the best I've ever had, but still more than above average. We went here before a concert at the basketball arena (withholding the current name because it changes so much). Service was mostly attentive and polite. We were able to have a nice, relaxed meal with plenty of time to get to our seats.

Researched the best risotto in Phoenix and was excited to try it out at this restaurant. Spent 20 minutes walking here just to find out they were no longing offering this item. Server told me they change the menu often and their up-to-date menu is online (which is incorrect because I reviewed the menu online ahead of time to avoid this exact issue).

We were so excited to try this restaurant for my birthday on 11/14 but ended up so disappointed.

We had reservations for 7 pm .. but we didn’t get our drinks or appetizer until after 8 pm (timestamp included with the photo)

Our main dish finally came at about 9 pm and by that point, we were past the point of starving. Plus we ordered a second round of drinks that never came and we had to cancel before asking for our check.

To make matters worse, because we sat around waiting for so long, we missed our cocktail reservations for the place we planned to go after, losing out on a nonrefundable deposit.

Maybe we went to the restaurant on an off night when the place was short staffed, so we recognize that. Our server was friendly and apologetic when we paid, but overall, the experience was so disappointing.

We might try to give this place another try, but we aren’t eager to wait around for hours again.

What a charming restaurant. I love how they kept the rooms divided, as it was in the 1920’s. The parlor was darling and the dining room was perfect for an intimate dinner. The decor took me back to a bygone era.
The service was fantastic. We shared the dates, which were delicious, just needed a touch of salt or citrus to balance the dish better. I ordered the filet. Perfectly cooked—medium rare. But, the sauce was on the sweet side and really needed an acid to even it out. I did ask for salt and pepper for the entree which helped. But, not enough. I’d rather have it without the sauce next time. Maybe with a side of raw horseradish. The fingerling potatoes were perfectly cooked as was the asparagus. I’ll definitely come here again.

This was a last minute reservation. Charming place, house turned in to multi-roomed, themed restaurant. Very good food, appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere is its gem. I thought I took pictures, but I guess not, too immersed in the moment. But I had the duck, delicious!
