We ordered the lemon poppyseed pancakes, along with bacon and a couple eggs - all to share. Everything was great. The place is okay ambiance wise. Huge looking kitchen but the dining area seemed a bit sterile. Good coffee, the pancakes were awesome, and had to look the bacon they use here as it was amazing (called nueskes bacon, evidently Krogers carries it - get it especially if you like pepper as this is very peppery).
The Joy Bus Diner is hands-down one of the best places to eat in Phoenix, not just because the food is incredible, but because the mission behind it is truly something special.

This isn’t just a diner. It’s a nonprofit with heart. Their entire mission is centered around supporting homebound cancer patients by delivering fresh, healthy meals right to their doors, all prepared by professional chefs. On top of that, The Joy Bus also provides valuable education...

What am amazing vibe and mission. Cannot wait to go try everything!! It's right on the corner of my neighborhood.
