The food was so good here!! I highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak fries. Service was awesome and it wasn't too crowded for a Saturday night. Perfectly located near all the fun places that Phoenix has to offer.

Loved the vibes here ! Very old school dive vibes, but nice and clean and cozy. We got the crab cakes, porkbelly sliders & Philly cheese steak fries. Everything was good, the fries could have had a more solid crisp & the crab cakes could have used some sort of dipping sauce. All & all the dishes were good and I would come back. Also, got the Benny Blanco & loved it!!

I want to give a huge shoutout to Wes, one of the managers at The Kettle Black Pub. Wes did an outstanding job and went above and beyond to help me out. I was having trouble getting my receipt from a previous night despite multiple attempts, and Wes stepped in and handled it with professionalism, patience, and genuine care.

He took the time to track everything down and made sure the issue was fully resolved, which I really appreciated. It’s clear that Wes takes pride in his work and cares about providing great customer service. Thanks to him, what could have been a frustrating experience turned into a positive one.

Excellent service and a great example of how a manager should operate—thanks again, Wes!

I just love this place, I always get the Short Rib, it’s outstanding. Tonight I also tried the Caesar’s Wrap & Chicken Santa Fe Soup. All excellent. The drinks are really good and so is the beer. The service is amazing and friendly. Just a great vibe all around. I will keep coming back!

Absolutely love this gem! I had a taste of the Buffalo Chicken Fries, Fish and Chips, and their Mac and Cheese; all were delicious! In fact, everything on their menu looked delicious. They serve specialty cocktails plus all the mainstream beers also if you're into that sort of thing. A must-go while in Phoenix and plan to revisit soon. The service was excellent also!

The food was delicious! We had the fish & chips and the wings- both were so tasty! Prices were good and the portion of fish was huge! I definitely recommend checking them out while in downtown.

I had probably the worst experience EVER yesterday at this establishment. Server took 10 minutes to get us all seated after our 40 minute wait (didn’t even wipe the table down.) and we proceeded to order drinks and food at the same time. Ordered a beer and soft drinks that took 15 minutes to get to my table, and took over 50 minutes to receive our food. No check ins on our table at to refill our drinks and had to ask for a pitcher to fill our water since no one had ever came to see how we were doing. Also, we didn’t even receive silverware for our meals so we had to wait 15 minutes after we finished our burger to eat our salad since we had absolutely nothing. I understand having a big group is a hassle with service, but our server never even bothered to try with us. The table next to us had slightly quicker service, but still took a long time and received a 50% discount on their meal and had an apologetic server who obviously cared and knew they had a poor experience. We expressed our disappointment with our service and were only given a 5% discount (with our 20% automatic gratuity tacked on so she took .80 cents off) and proceeded to give us attitude, roll her eyes, and scoff when she ran our cards. the worst service that I could have ever received, and did not even receive an apology from the server or manager. Having worked in the food service industry, I understand times can be busy and difficult, but I at least used to apologize and try to help the customer. I would NEVER come back to this establishment if they continue to have employees with the same attitudes as our server had.

Great spot for a drink. The food was delicious (chicken club sandwich) and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd want for a pub. The staff was super welcoming. If you can catch an early Sat morning Manchester city game there it's electric.
