Pretentious hipster bartenders with no talent intentionally making an atrocity of a drink because it’s more work than pouring a whiskey in a lowball is actually kind of hilarious.

This pub has fantastic service that knows how to pour Guinness and has a great wooden interior. Sad to say though that the Ruben was on the dry side but the fries was awesome.

AWESOME place!

Must haves:

Fries...their fries are AMAZING and, oh my God, the Philly Cheese Steak fries? Yes. Dear God yes. lol I could LIVE on these for a week...

Then there's the pork belly sliders. These are NOT pulled pork. They're BETTER! They're just sliders with giant chunks of amazing pork on them. They're a bit different and somewhat offputting to some people, since a fair amount of the pork belly is fat, but it's SO good. It's not like the chewy, gross fat you get in steak...it's soooooo good. Even if it looks weird.

Honorable mentions:

Their booze list. Very nice selection of Irish Whiskey and Scotch especially.

Their honey hot wings. Good stuff!

Their Reuben. Hard to screw up a Reuben and I can honestly say, they did not.

Their cheesecake. Reeeeally good...

I called to make reservations the night of the Andrea Bocelli concert. The woman who answered was not pleasant, telling me I must be the 30th person to call and ask if they were going to be crowded at the 5 PM hour. I thought that quite strange and simply decided not to make a reservation and thanked her. I ate a sandwich at my hotel before heading out for the concert. Not at all impressed with this restaurant and I never even had a chance to eat here.very odd…

The Dear Prudence drink is good! The southwest chicken wrap is kinda bland and dry…

This was the worst experience in a pub/restaurant that I’ve ever experienced. Our party were going to Hannys across the street, but they had to close early. They referred us to The Kettle Black. The service was horrible, the food was horrible and my water glass had lipstick prints all around the rim. The following day, we all had food poisoning. The music was loud and vulgar. I would NEVER EVER recommend this pub to anyone! Had to ask the bartender several times to assist us with our needs and had to wait forever to get served and to even get our check when there were only about ten other patrons in the establishment. Waitress standing around doing absolutely nothing and ours was in the back on her phone.smdh

This is probably the last time we dine here. We absolutely love the food but between parking and tonight's horrible service( it was so empty we may have been her only table )it's just not worth coming anymore.it's unfortunate because we do like the food.

The best pregame and postgame spot for Suns and Dbacks games or Man City matches. Great chicken curry and fish and chips. Alex and the rest of the staff were great company during our visit.
