Appetizers were delicious, entrees were normal, nothing special. Pork chop, tortilla soup was sent back, ribs & salmon were good, not terrific. . Service was marginal- Zoe was our server, never refilled our water, brought coffee after dessert was almost finished. The pecan pie was scrumptious! Overall, We were not impressed and probably won't return.
Our party of 3 really enjoyed dining at Macintosh. We had requested a booth in a quieter area of the restaurant and were given the best table that fit that criteria. The waitress was friendly and professional and our food, which was very good, arrived quickly.The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived with a lot of diners eating at the bar and on the beautiful outdoor patio. The music was a bit too loud; otherwise we couldn't have had a nicer evening.
This place is delightful and a great lunchtime secret on the busy weekends. The food was fantastic. We had the charred Brussels Sprouts with Garlic and bacon, which is kind of a show stopper in itself. I had the rotisserie chicken which was tender and juicy with lovely onion rings and my wife had the biscuits and gravy special. Both amazing. We got complementary take away drinks. This place is now my new favorite place to go for lunch and dinner.
