The Macintosh was unremarkable. The BBQ brisket sandwich was overly sweet and lacking in smokiness or savory flavor. It was also rather expensive compared to the BBQ you can get at other restaurants in Arizona. I've had considerably more meat for the money elsewhere. The service was acceptable, but the atmosphere felt off. It was very bland and corporate, like much of the Camelback Colonnade area.
We loved this little spot! We loved the food, the service and that the restaurant was busy but not so packed that you couldn't enjoy it. We will definitely come back— a little cruise from Prescott & Tuscon. The 3 of us enjoyed two of the salads and the burger.
I have been coming here off and on once a month when able to either by myself for a treat or for friends birthdays or various ocassions, Most of the dishes i have tried are fantastic, bar staff always delight with cocktails and honestly the service staff is just another reason i come back. If you are looking for a good date to impress someone.. this is a spot not to miss.
