I had high hopes but the food ended up being decent without really standing out and some dishes felt like they needed more flavor and better portions. The tamales had a soft texture and tasted good but I probably would not make the trip back just for them.
This is the cutest spot!!! Love the feeling of dining in. Super cute little Mercado inside, separate from the restaurant. Food was DELICIOUS, tastes fresh and was served nice and warm ... it was so worth it! Nothing disappointed! The staff was super friendly and helpful. With this being my first time, they took the time to explain everything to me as I asked questions. Food is 10 out of 10! So we left with a dozen cooked/frozen tamales to have back at home. Great food for the authentic experience, I belive beans are made fresh daily they did not have a can taste, great selection of daily tamales to choose from. Menu rotates your selection day to day.
