Website menu wasn't up to date so items we went for were not available. My wife asked for her leftovers to be boxed to take home but they got tossed out. Kitchen made a half order of her entree to make up for the mistake, but we had to wait a while for it.

We always love Tarbells, The Tavern. Excellent service, food and ambiance! There are a few new wonderful menu items, including the meatloaf with mashed potatoes which my husband ordered and loved. I had the chipolte marinated chicken pacts which were yummy! The fries were divine! I always order them well-done for the extra crunch! Super good and nice soft potato with a great crispy outside. Thanks again for a great dining experience!

A friend and I enjoyed our lunch at the Tavern last Friday. The ambiance was lovely, the staff was welcoming & warm, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend the crunchy chickpea appetizer to anyone who visits this fine establishment.

Tarbell's Tavern is our go-to neighborhood place. I love ordering the burger salad style! So delicious. And of course, Tarbell's fries are awesome. Service is always terrific and of course the wine selection is unparallelled!

BLT is the best you'll find. Grilled cheese decadent. This tine I tried the chicken and beef tacos. They were ok. Filling. Coconut cream pie is very good. Wife's birthday so the plate was drizzled with chocolate. Admit that little bit of chocolate made the cake even better. Ordered a bottle of wine as we always appreciate Tarbell's not adding a markup.

We came for the Walter Scott Wine Tasting and stayed for dinner. We shared the patty melt and the grapefruit and avocado salad. Excellent!
