Tried the Phoenix Cheesesteak and onion rings, both new. Cheesesteak was very generous enough for 1 teenager, 2 adults, or 3 seniors. Meat was spicy and could be too much for a few people but was very tasty to us. For the onion rings the operative work on onion rings is THICK.
Best burgers in Phoenix. Great service and vibe. Salmon burger which one of the members of our group had was particularly great. Fantastic thick fries as well. We have been to the Tavern many times and it is always consistent. The coconut creame pie for dessert with fabulous.
Food is fantastic and consistently so. However, first time I tried the tempura halibut sandwich. Yum The best sandwich I've had in decades. Run, don't walk, to try one. Also, gluten/free version available . I love Mark and have been a customer since the beginning. 🥰❤️‼️
