My all time favorite terryaki chicken spot... Down to one location but still pretty close to the early 2000's experience... Best sauce.. side salad... Chicken comes slightly charred and that and the sauce is what elevates Tokyo Express over chain places.
For 20 years I frequent all of Tokyo expresses locations but now they only have this one left but every time I get a chance to go there, I do. The staff are friendly, and the food is always consistent and yummy. I hope they stand business for at least the next 20 years.
This is my all time favorite place to eat. The food has tasted the exact same since I was a little girl. Best salad ever! Best sukiyaki ever! I used to have my birthday dinner here every year when I was a kid when we would come back in town for Christmas. Tokyo express is what I miss the most about AZ (other than my family… most days)
