Great food, Great service! I had been hearing about this restaurant from family members for years and finally got to try it.

Looking for non-chain Mexican food and found this place on TripAdvisor. I was a little leary at night in this area alone and almost didn’t get out but glad I did. Small family-owned business. First time I’d had frybread and loved it. It was warm, soft, and fresh. Had shredded beef frybread taco which was huge. They checked on me during the meal and even brought 3 heat levels of sauces. About $10 to more than fill me up.

Found this family owned restaurant highly rated so tried it out to see if it was true. Absolutely the best fry bread and original Mexican food! The shredded beef was tender and tasty in the tacos and enchiladas. We bought several fry breads to take back to our VRBO. And the customer service was top notch! Loved it!

What a treat! We saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to try Maria’s and we were not disappointed. We ordered a beef burrito and a shredded chicken open fry bread. Everything was good including the chips! Both the red and green salsas were spicy but very good! Very happy we went to Maria’s. The staff is so friendly, the small dining area clean and tidy. Next time we are in Phoenix, we will definitely return!!

Excellent food, made from scratch. Fried bread was a first for me, but it was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Thieis mostly takeout, but there were seats in this small restaurant. We both had fry bread dishes which were filled with mostly refried beans mixed with a small amount of beef. People were nice. Location in a shopping center at the end of it which made it hard to find. I might try it with other choices on the menu, but I do not recommend the fry bread dishes

All that I can says is that this was heaping helping of yummy goodness! We had been looking for a spot that sold fry bread and found Maria’s online. I had the fry bread taco with green chili and it was so fluffy and flavorful that I nearly ordered another one to go, while my friend had it with cinnamon and sugar…yummy too! The chips were homemade, crispy, and delicious as were the salsas.

My husband has Celiacs disease and we have had multiple safe dinners here because EVERYTHING IS GLUTEN FREE. Thank you!! I only wish the staff would wear masks but other than that this pop-up is great.

We were looking to try authentic fry bread, and Maria's was the best! I had the Navajo Taco, and it was huge and delicious. My husband had the enchiladas, and said they were the best he has ever tasted. This is a wonderful little place that is located at the end of a strip mall, with a building in front of it. Drive thru was busy. Definitely worth trying if you're looking to support a small family business. The staff were professional and friendly, and checked on us during our meal. So glad we went, and HIGHLY recommend!

Love to explore mom and pop restaurants while on vacation. This place did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The owners were so sweet and helpful. It's a very small place, but obviously loved by locals. There are a few tables inside and outside. We sat inside and the food was fast, hot, and tasty. We cannot wait to return.

Holy s&@$ this food was sooo goooooood! The flavors were amazing, we had the pork chimichanga which was a limited item and the pastor street fries. Let. Me. Tell. You. What. The chimi was so moist on the inside and you could taste the Smokey flavor and the sauce on top was like icing on a cake! Everything about the street fries were YES! I love Jewels bakery and now this is our new Mexican restaurant, keep up the great work and I won’t need to go anywhere else for my dining out meals!

We've been anxious to get some fry bread but weren't sure where to go. After looking through TA we chose Maria's and so glad we did. This is a small place tucked at the end of a strip mall. Once you get close you are intrigued by the smells coming out. We were warmly greeted by the counterman and he helped walk us through the menu. It's a simple menu, but we wanted to make sure we got the fry bread we've been dreaming of. We placed our order and went outside to sit at one of the two picnic tables. Our food came out in just a couple of minutes. We were in awe of the size of the portions but even more in awe of the incredible taste! I had the green chili shredded beef and Mrs M had the ground beef. Both were excellent! They are served with three great sauces: hot, hotter and OMG! All were great! The service is excellent and the food is awesome! We will be back!

Nice little “pop up” inside Jewels Bakery. Th-Sat nights. The tacos are decent. Feel like if each taco had their own toppings (opposed to just cilantro and onion) they would be elevated. The Pastor is little dry for my liking but still had good flavor. The Elote though was good surprise of a side dish. I would try the fries next time and a marg. They look great. Chill - friendly environment. Great idea.

Bomb pastor tacos. They dont smother it with achiote red paste. Meat does all the talking. I liked the red peanut sauce also. Small effective menu. House margarita was refreshing. Definitely a must try. Carne asada juicy not dry. I ate all my food before taking pictures.
