Great place to chill and relax before/ in between flight as case may be. I visit while in the airport to do my job - servicing X-ray equipment at TSA checkpoints. Volunteer staff are without fail kind, courteous and attentive. Like all USOs they welcome donations. Don’t be shy if you have war stories to share, they listen and have ones of their own.

I visited the Phoenix USO with my husband who is 100% s/c had a horrible interaction with a volunteer by the name of “Jeanette”. My husband was turned away, after being racially profiled and dismissed. This is a huge USO, fully staffed and on this particular day, only 3 service members were taking advantage of the facility and service at the time we got here, There were more volunteers standing around than there were visitors.I can understand giving priority to active duty when space is limited but what makes my husband, his sacrifices and service ANY DIFFERENT than that of a retired or currently enlisted service member. His disabilities were sustained while serving his country and he should be respected and treated as any other service member despite his affiliation status. We appreciate volunteers, as they do not HAVE to be here but this should not affect the level of service you provide or maybe you should re-think your motives “Jeanette”.Thank you to Lynda and the other volunteers who were very kind and helpful.

Easiest to find uso that I've been to in years, and super conveniently located in the airport. And the best part is they make a darn fine cup of coffee. If you're on a layover, it's totally worth stopping in.

This USO was a little hard to find for me. It's located on level 2 by the C and D terminal check in, closer to the international side. The opposite side is where A and B terminals are located. The hours have changed from what is posted as of Nov 1, 2023. The volunteers here are wonderful. They gave me a tour since I couldn't remember being here in the past. There is a kids room, an area with reclining chairs, an area to eat a wide selection of snacks, and more. Someone donated chocolate chip cookies that I enjoyed while catching up with some work. The value is excellent considering it's based on donations.

We were here just yesterday ! My husband and I had a lay over from San Fran in Arizona. It was a nice uso. Had a game room , a quiet room, food with good service and a tv area. It was nice to take my shoes off and just relax. I sat on the game room to talk to my kids. Had a cup of noodles and some nuts. Charged my phone and laptop. Got to use a nice clean bathroom instead of the gross airport terminal ones. We love the uso and this one in particular was super sweet !

What an incredible place. Been to Isis across the world and while not the biggest, maybe the best maintained and set up. I look forward to making this a regular stop in my trips through Phoenix.
