The coffee is all dark roast, so if you don't like that...
But the employees are so nice, I'll still come back even though I don't particularly like the coffee. The swivel chairs in the corner are also VERY comfortable.

Valley Coffee Company is a wonderful spot nestled right in the Portland on the Park condos near Portland and Central Avenue. It sits on a fun, quiet street with a beautiful boulevard and nice shopping.
Surprisingly, this is the only coffee shop I know of that serves tamales! Even though I had just eaten breakfast, I still had to spring for one, and it was so worth it—really good and perfectly fluffy. I also had an iced decaf mocha with coconut milk. While it...

It's rare to find a cafe that manages to be so inviting, warm, and offer up a great mix of food and drinks, but I'm pleased to say that Valley Coffee company nails it across the board.

One of the things I'll say is most surprising is the pricing. Normally I'd expect everything to be 3-4 dollars more for what you're getting compared to other places.
