Best NY pizza in Arizona! The vodka could be my favorite, but the pepperoni was also top tier! I have tried all of the top pizza places in Arizona on a quest to find the best and this holds the crown!

The pizza here is great. Unfortunately, the service was the complete opposite.

The gentleman running the register and the gentleman bringing out the food need training on service skills.

This was on Saturday, 9/27 at about 8:30-9pm.

Found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. Real good pizza no doubt but $10 for 2 slices of plain cheese pizza. Im good I dont have it like that. I wish them well but that hurt my pocket.

Before reading my review, I would just like to clarify: in my opinion this pizza shop is THE BEST PIZZA IN PHOENIX!! The vegetarian options are absolutely fire and genius; a perfect mix of sweet and savory that is unlike any pizza you will find elsewhere. The slices feel light and not overly greasy while being packed with flavor. I haven’t found as unique and tasty pizza since moving to Phoenix 3 years ago, which is why I can’t help but keep coming back.

That being said, nearly every time I have come here I have had a poor experience at the register. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt as everyone has their days but a male at the register wearing a baseball cap has been rude to me on several occasions.
Today particularly hurt when I suggested to my coworker that we stop by after our shift. I take 911 calls for a living and today had been a harder day than usual for everyone; I was excited to show my coworker my new pizza spot and step away from some of the general heaviness of the day.
When we walked in, I had to use the restroom and asked if I could borrow the key. The cashier then pronounced that the bathroom key is for dine-in *customers only* to which I stated that we were planning to dine in… I had just wanted to use the restroom first before digging in. Instantly, I felt as though I was a burden. He then proceeded to stare at me blankly while customers looked on before telling me that someone was already in the restroom. I learned after that customers were just lining up directly at the door and not having to ask for the key from staff in the first place. So then, there we were; dining in like we had intended but now we were sitting in the barstool area right next to the register silently eating in embarrassment. My coworker figured we got treated like that because we were still in uniform… I felt bad for bringing her there in the first place.

I love the food here but I think getting it to go might be the best option.

Went here during lunch this past week with a co-worker. Absolutely the best experience and tasting pizza. It was so good, I ordered a whole pie today. Unfortunately, I forgot it was “first Friday” and there was literally no parking near the shop around 830p when I was going to get my order. I must have circled about 5-6 times. Finally, I was like let me call and see if they would be willing to bring out my order. The guy who answered couldn’t have been any more pleasant and said no problem. Curbside service with a smile and fist bump. Can’t say they will always be able to do this but it was extremely accommodating tonight and I greatly appreciate the hospitality. I will absolutely be a regular customer.

I was just browsing the internet looking for a decent spot and came across Via Della Slice Shop. I also noticed cannolis on the menu so it was a must try! So glad I stopped by. My other half and I decided to get a whole pie, half pepperoni and half vodka. The pizza was everything!!!!! Slices are definitely NY style, large, thin, foldable, baked to perfection and ingredients taste fresh. I also felt things were also reasonably priced. The cannoli was good but not the best I’ve had and missing chocolate chips. The cannoli was my only minor complaint. Staff were friendly, parking was easy, atmosphere very welcoming and food was great! We will definitely be back!

They also offer an assortment of canned/bottled soda, mineral water, wine, hard cider, beer, etc.

Thank you Via Della Slice Shop.
