The food and our server were absolutely amazing, however one of the servers named nikki was not only disrespectful to her employees but to customers as well making it a negative atmosphere and experience. Jen was our server, very friendly and five stars to her.

Me and my wife decided to go to a waffle house because the restaurant we picked was giving us horrible service, so we decided waffle house would be better so we went to this waffle house to try a new waffle house we have 2 in mesa they are dirty but better then this place i ordered 2 waffles and a soda my wife is allergic to grits so she just ordered a waffle a side of bacon and 3 eggs scrambled and sweet tea we told our server she was great the cook ruined our night he cooked a huge pile of grits and placed it on a plate with toast and my wifes eggs and brought it to the table i politely told him we didn't order toast and grits he said you can have it on the house i said we would like it removed please and just to have the eggs can you remove the grits he walked away and came back with a small plate and told my wife to remove it herself i told him he needs to take it back and fix it she is allergic he wouldn't do anything until our server came over and told him to just make eggs and removed the plate i find it very rude and not very waffle house such a nasty attitude we did our best to avoid trouble we only ordered what we wanted nothing crazy said she has allergies and we got an extra serving of drama and attitude i guess its our fault for choosing waffle house for simple breakfast why cant you cook whats ordered why make and waste food no one ordered because of allergies the employee cooking was a tall skinny Native American kid with a huge head phones listening to music instead of doing his job he should work in a music store or DJ if you wanna not listen and jam out to music he should lose that attitude and those headphones or his job ill be reaching out to corporate about how my wife was treated mesa waffle houses are awesome they take your order and cook it that way i would say if your in Phoenix go to Black Bear Diner not here avoid
