Certainly not fancy or pretentious, but the fish is great and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. We rolled up about 30 minutes before closing and almost didn't go in because of the exterior appearance. Glad we let their 4.9 rating overcome our hesitation! We will absolutely come back when we are in the area. Try the salmon skin crisps, they are fun and tasty add on to your order. Their fresh wasabi is fantastic too!
looks a little sketchy on the outside but those are always the best places. my fiance and I sat at the bar and if you know anything about sushi spots that’s always how you get the best experience! Miguel, the owner and chef, is the sweetest guy and makes the absolute best food. Please go show them some love.
Drove 30 min to try Xami Sushi and I was not disappointed! Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. You could taste the freshness in every roll and the spicy garlic edamame was on point. I will happily drive 30 min for sushi every time! Thank you, Xami Sushi.
