The food was excellent. I had a Philly cheese steak and my friend had a chicken sandwich. Food was fresh with homemade fries. We ordered cherry cobbler which came out warm and in a skillet. Absolutely delicious!!! The crust melted in your mouth. We will be back!!! So happy we came in...

Had a group come in for dinner, and we sat in the back room. Had some great conversation, some phenomenal food, in a really cool atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but the margarita was HUGE! Definitely place will be back too.

Staying in Showlow for the first time. Got the super sampler and added a hot link. Ribs looked a day old, beans were cold, chicken and pulled pork were OK (the best of the meats). Corn bread was way dry and crumbled apart, butter wasnt warm or nearly soft enough so you couldnt even spread it. We'll be back to the area but wont be back to grumpy jakes unfortunately. Staff was nice. Place didn't have many people inside, I think I see why.
