I ordered Chicken fromaggio and told the gal I loved a good lemon piccata sauce.
She said we can do that.
There is an up charge to swap that out.
Now it’s on me that I didn’t ask how much, but who expects a sauce swap to be a $4 up charge??? I honestly figured a $1

Keep in mind, I didn’t get additional sauce, one was removed and replaced with a different choice.
And why wouldn’t someone openly say our charge for that is $4.
Somehow it only costs a $1.5 to add chocked to a pizza there, but you will pay $4 to trade out the sauce.

In addition to the charge, chicken was good but there was ZERO lemon flavor to my sauce. It tasted just like the white wine sauce and I shared that politely when she asked me how my meal was. She apologized and said she would say something to the kitchen.

I didn’t send my food back, I didn’t complain, just informed her it was lacking any sort of lemon effect
Still was charged the $4…

Now to also note the Fromaggio was more expensive than the piccata and yet somehow it’s still a pricey up charge.
Take one sauce away and then charge more above and beyond to trade it out. WHY?

Four of us went to dinner on Sunday evening they were very busy at 4:30,understandably why. We had the best Italian dinner I have ever had in the prescott, prescott valley area ever,we were all very impressed with the quality and portions we received at a fair price. We will definitely be back and tell others how good this restaurant is. Thank you

Casual attire is fine but they have a fine dining vibe. Shrimp Portofino was excellent with a very rich sauce. Salmon Rissoto was just ok with the fillet slightly over cooked and lacked flavor. We added the sauce from the Portofino dish and it helped the dish.

Everything would've been a 5 as their pasta dishes are great, however their pizza is sent out on a solid metal serving tray which collects moisture underneath, so you end up eating gooey dough, no crisp, just goo. And when you ask for a to go pizza box, they provide you a foam container.

I'll say 5 stars overall anyway. For as busy as this place always is they give great effort to keep up, deliver mostly pretty good food, and decent service. This isnt Chicago or New York. We've been here several times over the past couple years. I'd have to say at least a dozen times. Usually always packed. So we sometimes meet other nice people to chat with while we wait. Usually not long. As for Italian quizine its pretty good. Best in the area. Some of the wait staff are very friendly and personable, at least one is not so much. This can be irritating. But they deal with a large crowd during their shift, and based on some of the reviews I've read, some customers are real entitled jerks. Don't be that guy and enjoy your meal, and appreciate what they do at Ciao Bella. We'll be back many times and always recommend to friends. We alway take family when they visit. Keep up the good work and and we'll see you soon.

Super friendly staff, food was great. Popular place had to wait to get in but it was worth it. The place is one big dinning area that you can see everyone in the place and not one person was on their cell phone. Everyone was enjoying conversation with the people they were with, it was so awesome to not see one cell phone being used in the entire restaurant.

Very good with reasonable prices. Which when it comes to Italian food is a nose change. The owner also owns another restaurant, specializing in breakfast called salt and pepper. If you're in Prescott, you must eat at salt and pepper.
