Having grown up in Arizona, I can honestly say it is hard to find an exceptional Mexican restaurant. This is contrary to what one would expect. As a retired chef having travel around the world, I’ve eaten in some amazing restaurants. The flavors of Mexican cuisine are some of my favorites. Whether smokey flavors from the Sonoran desert, or the oceanic cuisine from Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, to the seven moles of Oaxaca, I simply love Mexican food. Visited for the first time, I have passed by, and when I don't see it empty, it's full. I was surprised it was not that big and more surprised to see there was a tortilla maker, nothing better than fresh tortillas. It's quickly began to get busy as we ordered, so the service got slower, but the chicken with mole I ordered with flour tortilla was great.. atmosphere was super cozy and colorful. Mexican decor brightened up the place beautifully .
