Went for my mom's birthday... After 13 years of being in this bit of Arizona, and thinking this was a dive bar for likes of the nearby mobile home park. This place surprised me. Recommend reservations... because of a very long wait otherwise. Glad my dad requested out of the front/bar area, lots quieter in the back.
Waitress was great, friendly and attentive. Onion rings perfect, cole slaw good but not my style. Rib eye steak for $42 was a joke. C+ at best, 15% gristle, 50% super thin, no flavor, 30% or so good flavor, although some of the gristle was here. Cool atmosphere but way overrated meat.
Had a wonderful lunch here last Saturday. It's a small place, well cared for. Clean, dusted and tidy. We had the handcut 12 oz ribeye steak and a au jous sandwhich. It was awesome. Steak was phenomenal! We will definitely return. I especially love that there is a place in town to get a great steak before dinner 4-5pm.lunch starts at here 11am.
