Came here after a very very bad experience next door at the palace restaurant. I didnt really want to pull the race card but honestly that was the only thing that can explain it. I'm thankful for Matt's saloon as they showed a different side of Prescott. This was the 2nd place we came to on my birthday trip although our mood was damper from the prior experience I have to say Matt's saloon gives a welcoming vibe, a live band with a wonderful singer and great bartenders....
We loved Matt's Saloon is a historic honky-tonk bar on Prescott's Whiskey Row, known for its live country music, dancing, and off-track betting. It features a large dance floor, hosts regular live bands on weekends, and offers karaoke on weeknights, embodying a classic, casual, and energetic atmosphere.
Sat at bar....bartender was super friendly
Had a Blue dolphin and Wife loved her tequila soda.
Music volume was perfect for talking and other were dancing. In and out before 830. Great atmosphere understand why is seemed to be getting busy around time we left.
