We truly experienced Arizona hospitality here. It was the end of our road, we didn’t plan on a way back out of the park. After sending two of our crew to an assisted living facility for cell service, the rest of us were sheltered inside this restaurant.The owner, her bartender and cook served us drinks while we awaited our desperate rides back to Scottsdale. They were a blast, and really kept our spirits positive. We were a stranded group of friends in the middle of the desert...
I haven't been here in 40 years. I have to say it was a nice clean property. The water seemed pretty clean for a sweet lake. Great place for off road vehicles. Well maintained dirt roads but still enough washboard to keep the drive interesting. Great place.
We took a drive from Surprise, AZ to check out the lake and have lunch. We weren’t expecting a delicious chicken sandwich. The flavors were different and the chicken had a nice char flavor. Open air patio, casual, in Covid days was nice. Staff very friendly. Wish we were closer so could taste some other items.
