My friend Fernando recommended KOLD Snacks To-Go in Somerton, Arizona, and according to him, it's one of the best snack eateries in the state.That's mighty big words, so I had to try it out. KOLD Snacks has a huge variety perfect for anyone that's craving something cold and sweet or those you partake in the spicier snacks. They serve Thrifty Ice Cream which if you know your ice cream its the best.I ordered a banana split, it was a generous helping of ice cream, whipped cream, sprinkles and two cherries on top. As for my lunch buddy he order the Crazy Hot Cheetos which he gave two thumbs up.And for the road we ordered the Mazapan (peanut snack) Frappe which was amazing. The staff was incredible, they were polite, respectful and attentive. We will definitely be returning.“
“What a colorful place to go to for delicious options on a hot day! Customers were happy to tell about their favorite items! This time I opted for a cone. Sadly the rum raisin ice cream was dripping from the git go! Maybe a problem with the freezer unit in that case??? Frozen fruit bars were frozen nicely and are fun, pretty and yummy! Employees friendly and happy to translate! Signage is all in Spanish so unless you are brave and willing to try based on the look of an item, relying on staff to explain is crucial!!Clean storefront. Clean tables outside too! Even the bathrooms were clean!“
“I love this place!!!!! They have such a variety of snow and prepared churros, waters, fruit salads, nachos, chips, sodas, shaved ice, EVERYTHING!! It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it because everything is very well reported!! There is a chile table that has amor chamoy sauce and mango chamoy. Right there they have a chilito that the girl prepares herself. IT'S DELICIOUS! Compared to "big brother" uff there is no other like this place. It is very clean always always always!! In the kitchen, at the bar, where the chairs are, THE ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT IS VERY VERY CLEAN. Not to mention the friendliness of the staff. The lady and the girl are always very smiling, very friendly, talkative and nothing almost matters what you ask for. Big brother has disappointed me because it is almost as if they are always in a bad mood and apart from that they have lost motivation in what they do. Everything they have is very simple compared to Las Palmas. They put so many things to the numb in Las Palmas from plum water or tamarind or both, chili chamoy, Clamato, chaca chaca, sweet tamarind chili powder among other things. So much flavor wow! They have a delicious flavor, on the other hand, in big brother they taste good reduced with Clamato chile and chamoy. I don't go anywhere else but in las palmas. Every time I go the lady already knows what I ask for ?. Everything excellent. If I could I would give them 10 stars. Highly recommended.“
