I’m honestly a bit reluctant to say anything good about this place for fear that it might become too popular and crowded. The fried catfish takes me back to my childhood, perfect!
Really good food and our server was very nice. She even let me try the catfish when she knew I was torn between the fish and pulled pork (both were very tasty btw). I know pickles are not why you go somewhere but I really liked the pickle and the corn bread. The hubby loved the hot mama sandwich. We got done right when the music was getting ready to start, will have to come back later next time to check that out.
Arizona BBQ Shack hit me right in the memory. That fried catfish took me straight back to Georgia and tasted so much like my daddy’s that it stopped me in my tracks for a minute. Crispy where it ought to be, tender where it counts, and seasoned like somebody in that kitchen actually knows what they’re doing instead of just pretending.
