The Yakisoba trio was nice. I had the hibachi salmon and it was delicious. I wish there were more noodles. I wasn't a fan of the garlic dressing that came on the salad.

This is a place it seems people go to only for special occasions. The atmosphere is often interrupted by the vocalizations of birthday song. The entertaining chefs (which used to be real Japanese) are usually Mexican these days which is disappointing from my past excursions decades ago. The skillful chefs show off their prowess wielding their chef tools and displaying pyrotechnic tricks and food tossing skills to delight the mixed crowd around a 4x8 foot steel grill. Savvy diners with a birthday are able to get a $30 discount on their meal, but that is more than made up for by the rest of the party paying what I consider pretty exorbitant pricing compared to other places I more frequently visit. It's simply a "once a year" place to go with family.

The food is always good and the chef (Roc) was super friendly but I felt disappointed overall and for the cost am not sure we will come back very often. My two complaints are 1) It was so noisy I couldn't hear all that our chef said, which made some of it get lost and 2) The meals are quite expensive and then the upcharge for the fried rice really made it feel unreasonable. Perhaps instead of chicken fried rice it could just be fried rice and not as expensive. Also, ever time we've come over decades it feels like the hibachi menu is always the same. Same veggies and I don't really like mushrooms or onions so the soup and veggies are lost on me. Just was less excited this time as I've been in the past.

We went for a birthday. It felt rushed. We had barely eaten half our entrees and the waiter was asking us if we want boxes, which kind of ice cream we want and how we wanted the bill. I don't want a box if I am still actively eating my food. The kids had a great time though and thought all the tricks were awesome.

My husband and I enjoyed the 5-course hibachi steak dinner overall. However, Roc was the worst Benihana chef we've ever experienced. She was very chatty and not focused on cooking, lacked knife skills so cut meats and vegetables clumsily, didn't make a show of tossing the shrimp tails into her chef”s hat or onion “choo choo train”, and was sloppy stir-frying the rice and vegetables so food landed outside the grill surface. We missed usual fun albeit formulaic experience.

I used to love coming here for family events. No more... Sadly, Benihana has gone downhill over the last few years. The servers were attentive but the chef was terrible. His idea of the show was banging wooden spice shakers on the table & trying to throw shrimp tails into his hat, missing every single time. His knife skills were marginal at best. Not fun or entertaining like it used to be.... Table of kids across from us looked bored too. I ordered filet only, medium rare. Got a barely 1/4 inch piece of meat that looked like sirloin cooked well done (hard to do otherwise at that size). Manager decided a 10% discount was appropriate, so I paid $45 plus tax & tip for steamed rice & vegetables. I'm disappointed that my birthday dinner was so substandard & management didn't care. Unless something changes, people will look for better options. Especially at the high price point. Hope management gets the idea & fixes the issues. You have competition & right now, they are better.

Not a good experience. The waitress was rude and only served half of the table. She pointedly never asked us about refills or took empty plates from us but she did from the other half of the table. It also took an hour before they even started up the hibachi grill to start making food. Reservation was for 7:45 and we didn't eat until 9 PM.

We were celebrating my husband's birthday with friends. Our server was not very good, he took FOREVER to get simple things like water and never brought my husband saki. My brother in law requested a bottle of the apple saki which we have ordered for years but the guy only brought a shot. The steak was fatty and chewy, not good at all. The food was barely seasoned- no flavor. The chef did the bare minimum and barely interacted. Very disappointment in the experience have decided to take our celebration elsewhere from now on.

Staff was good but our Chef Tony was awesome. He was energetic, had good jokes for our kids and was very talented. After he cooked our food he went over to another table and we notice how he is just on another level compared to the others.Food was great and the cocktail selection was tasty but lacked a punch for $15+ drinks. I'd recommend sticking with the wine and sake.Quick note....it only $13 to add a NY strip to an entree!Vegetarian options: Vegetables galoreKid-friendliness: Yes. Multi color crayons for kids. Onion volcano too!

Best food and service we’ve had in a long time! Chris was an excellent waiter and made us feel very welcome. Our cook Francisco, besides cooking amazing food, he also made us feel very welcome and put all of us in a good mood. Definitely will be returning!

The chef did a great job preparing the food. It came out very tasty. Performance wise he was "a bit flat." The people at our table (who we never met before) were not very responsive so maybe he was "feeding off their lack of energy." Probably one of the best meals I've had there flavor wise so great job other than his "performance."
