We haven't been to a Benihana location in a long time and had forgotten how fun the experience is. Having said that we had a lot of waiting. We had to wait 30 minutes after our scheduled reservation time for our table to be ready. We had to wait a long time between the salad course and the time when the chef came out to start preparing our meal, and a long time after the meal was over for the dessert service and check. The ambience was fun but it was always a let down when...

Only reason for the low review is due the chef. We were there for the Mother's Day celebration. So it was very crowded. Two people at the table had a food allergy-one has a shrimp and one had a mushroom allergy. But only one person requested for meal to be made on grill. Other customer did not mention preference. Chef cross contaminated my food by using the same utensil and not cleaning grill between the two dishes. Also, he mixed all the appetizers shrimp and entree shrimp...

It was a really nice place, obviously you're sitting with people you don't know since you're around a grill where someone cooks for you. The service was quite slow, I feel like food didn't truly start till an hour in and the salads were forgotten until reminded. I also think it's hard to know what sort of entertainment you'll get.
