“Café Paris: A Taste of France in ScottsdaleA review by a satisfied customerIf you are craving for some authentic French pastries, you don't have to fly to Paris. You just have to drive to the Café Paris in Scottsdale, where you will find the most delicious and flaky croissants, pain au chocolat, eclairs, and more. We discovered this gem driving to pick up some wine at Total Wine. We were a bit skeptical, but curious, so we decided to give it a try. The pastries here were as good as the ones we have had in Paris. As soon as I entered the cafe, I was greeted by the friendly owner, who was also the pastry chef. He had a display of freshly baked goods that looked so tempting, I wanted to try them all. I settled for a few items and took them home. We had them for breakfast with some coffee, and I was blown away by how amazing they tasted. They were light, airy, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth. They had the perfect balance of sweetness and richness. They were, in a word, heavenly.I can't recommend the Café Paris enough. It is worth the drive, even if you live far away. It is a rare treat to find such authentic and high-quality French pastries in Arizona. The owner is passionate about his craft and takes pride in his creations. He also offers other items, such as macaroons which we also tried. They were equally fantastic; he serves other dishes as well which we will try on anther visit. Do yourself a favor and visit the Café Paris. You will be glad you did.Parking: Easy parking“
“Really cute little shop that offers gluten free crepes! I called ahead and spoke to one of the owners to make sure they could accommodate Celiac and she confirmed to me their entire process to keep their gf crepes safe from cross contact. Once I arrived, both owners walked me through how they cook their gf crepes on a separate griddle and where they get their gf batter from. It was a breath of fresh air for a restaurant to have proper Celiac protocols to offer up without me having to play a 20 questions game. I felt very safe eating here and am thankful for businesses like them who take accommodating allergies seriously!Dietary restrictions: Celiac, gluten free“
“I got the duck and spicy crawfish jianbing. Never having one before didn't know what to expect, but this is definitely what I would want from Asian street food. Easy to eat on the go, packed with lots of flavor. I got it mild and that was plenty of spice for my Anglo pallet. Loved the thin egg creme style packed with meat. They are fairly thin, but a good 10 Inches long so there's plenty to eat for one person. No real atmosphere as it's in a food court and you're getting the smoke and smell from other grills. Take.it outside and eat on a nice day.“

“We had the strawberry ice cream cone and some chocolate covered strawberries and they were both delicious. Staff was nice and the place was clean. They even had some samples as soon as you walked in. There are so many more options on their menu. They have chocolate covered items, shakes, coffee, crepes, pancakes, mini pancakes, waffles, and much more.“
“We found this place on accident and what a happy accident it was! This cutely decorated, instagramable looking coffee shop is hidden away inside of a apartment complex and business area off of McDowell nearby the Desert Botanical Garden and Papago Park, which is where we were headed before stopping at Daily Drip. I think their menu is a little too big honestly since it's a lot to look at and decide from. It's 7 TV screens of items, that's quite a bit. They could successfully pair down their items and people would still love it. This is a personal preference though, as some people love places with huge menus, I prefer a more concise menu to help with the decision fatigue that comes along with too many choices. However, all that means is that I will come back and try some of the other items that I thought sounded yummy. Today I was super happy with my choice. I got the iced coconut blue matcha latte. It's delicious. My honey got the cocao turmeric latte which is very good too. It's like a sweeter golden milk latte. It would have been better at 50% sweetness, but that's just our preference. I usually think most drinks are made too sweet so we could have asked for it to be adjusted. Next time I plan to try a coffee drink, crepe, and hopefully have room for their good looking deserts. The chicken pesto toast we shared today was really tasty.“
