La Fogata Reviews
Very nice and newly remodeled rooms. Service was great!
I’ve been on the resort for a few days and the service has been beyond stellar. Every meal, whether it’s sit down or room service, the food has been awesome! I ha there Churro toast, Blackened Salmon, the empanadas and the Birria tacos. I can’t wait to come back and visit again.
Great service, friendly staff and excellent food! Lots of variety.

La Fogata is a restaurant located at a resort, offering a mix of experiences for its diners. The menu features a limited but appealing selection of entrees, with the sea bass receiving particular praise for its deliciousness. The restaurant boasts a wide variety of wine options and cocktails, which have been well-received by guests.
However, service has been inconsistent. Many diners have reported issues with food allergies not being taken seriously, leading to mix-ups and delays in food preparation. On occasions, guests have experienced long wait times for their orders, even during special events like Christmas dinner. While the food quality is generally high, some have noted that the service can detract from the overall experience.
Despite some negative experiences with staff, including a rude hostess, many reviews highlight the warm and inviting atmosphere, especially during special events like Thanksgiving brunch, which was described as outstanding with a plentiful buffet and friendly service. Overall, La Fogata has its strengths and weaknesses, making it a place that may appeal to resort guests but may not be worth a special trip.
