Fabulous welcome, sushi, sake and service! First visit but we will definitely be back! We had the Gyoza, Salmon Carpaccio, the OMG roll and the Sex and the City Roll. All were delicious. While we were waiting we were treated to a taste of the chefs special. Really good!

First time in Scottsdale. My friend who lives here in North Scottsdale has never been here before. I love Japanese sushi restaurants so I chose this place after doing some research.
So let's get into this. All I can say is...this is one of the best meals I've had in ages. The place itself has a wonderful ambiance. Very clean looking, very modern. I loved the atmosphere.

Kodo Sushi Sake is a restaurant known for its unique sushi rice and high-quality sushi. Popular menu items include the rainbow, mango crunch, and California rolls, as well as yellowtail carpaccio, ahi tower, and tuna tataki. The restaurant offers fresh food, a pleasant ambiance, and genuine service. It is praised for its reasonable prices, especially during lunch hours. The chefs are friendly and the sushi is consistently delicious. Customers appreciate that the fish is very fresh, likely brought in daily, and that the sushi rice, which is a mix of black and white, comes out purple, complementing the fish well. The rolls are large and filled with plenty of fresh fish, with little or no sauce, allowing the true flavor of the fish to shine. The restaurant is very clean, and staff are friendly, making it a good spot for sushi lovers in The Valley.
