Overall, it's a great place.... But I do feel like it's over hyped. The steaks were good, but not STELLAR. The chicken was good, juicy...but the flavors were a bit muted. Nothing was bad. But for the price you pay, I feel like everything should be stellar. The drinks were fancy. The chocolate cake was delicious. Just... $400+ for 2 people should have left me ... I don't know. Blown away? And ... I just wasn't.
I recently dined at Maple & Ash and had a mixed experience. The highlight of the meal was actually the appetizer. The Wagyu bites were excellent, and the sauce served with them absolutely made the dish. I would order those again without hesitation. Drinks and service were amazing!!
