Everything on this menu is phenomenal. Cocktails are delicious. Service is amazing. 10/10!!! Chelsea was my server and took fantastic care of my girls night group! Next going to bring my husband!
Came for a bestie HH in Old Town! It did not dissapoint! We had excellent service, great food! The Yellowtail was my fav!🤤

PINYON – Coastal Mediterranean is a restaurant located by the Scottsdale Performing Arts Center in Old Town, with plentiful parking in a free garage. The place is big and offers a patio, bar, and main seating areas; the restaurant itself is really pretty with outdoor seating overlooking a grassy courtyard and a fountain. The atmosphere features nice decor and a very energetic, vibrant vibe, though it can be on the noisy side. The staff are incredibly prompt, kind, and engaging, making the meal an experience.
The drinks are fantastic, with amazing martinis, great cosmos, and beautiful cocktails like one with earl grey tea and a gin sour. The food is excellent and presented well. Popular dishes to share include the spiced olive and feta hummus, the hummus trio, the pistachio lebneh with pita bread, the yellowtail crudo, the gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp), the beef carpaccio, the saffron risotto, and the lamb shakshuka. Sides like the brussel sprouts and cauliflower are also good. For dessert, the pistachio baklava cheesecake is incredible and amazing. The pan roasted chicken is good but less standout, and the oysters are still good but not the most recommended.
The experience is lovely and reasonable for the area, though a reservation is highly recommended as the restaurant gets packed. It is an ideal dinner reservation spot for nights seeing shows at the performing arts center. Customers definitely plan to return to try other menu items and for happy hour.
