Sweetest waitress working Sunday. Bailey was very attentive and welcoming. Let me tell you: been here 5 days now for a tournament and this is the best Happy Hour anywhere. 22oz Japanese beer AND 8oz hot sake for $8!?!?! Food was outstanding. Las Vegas roll delicious. Good miso soup. Big pieces of Nigiri. Highly recommend.

The sushi here was so delicious, seriously the best I’ve had in years. The torched salmon roll was so fire, and the staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

We popped into Sasaki Sushi & Bar in Old Town Scottsdale on a Tuesday, and what a win all-day happy hour!
The food was really good (we enjoyed some solid ramen and noodle bowls from the menu), the staff was super nice and attentive, and the happy hour prices made everything feel like an incredible deal. Super relaxed vibe right by the Scottsdale Mall area. We'll definitely be back, especially on Tuesdays for that extended happy hour value. Great spot for casual sushi and drinks

The location is odd and for Scottsdale their patio needs major updating. The food was good but bathing crazy that I would go back considering the environment. If you sit inside it's fine but again nothing crazy.

The place is nice, food delicious, service excelent. My husband and I really enjoyed dinner. We got miso soup, SPICY edamames, gyozas, 3 different rolls and everything was as my expectations!!

I love this place. It overlooks Civic Center Park, which is such a beautiful setting. It’s a shame we hadn’t been in some time.
We had just flown in from a jam-packed holiday trip to an empty refrigerator and were starving. It was a packed Friday night in Old Town Scottsdale, so my first thought was pizza—quick and easy. We passed two places with crowds of people waiting outside for tables.
Sasaki is tucked away, so I was hoping we’d get lucky—and we did. We were seated right away.
This place is great and definitely feels like a locals’ spot. It’s laid-back and reminds me of a European restaurant, with a smaller staff that works the entire place. You can really take your time and enjoy the evening.
We had the miso soup, cucumber salad, spring rolls, scallion pancakes, Tootie Roll, nigiri, and the Flaming Dragon. Everything tasted great and felt like a true comfort meal.
Highly recommend.

I went to Sasaki because of the excellent reviews, but it didn’t live up to them. First off, when you walk in, you’re confronted with a very strong cooking oil scent that will stay with you long after you leave. I understand that tempura is delicious, but proper exhaust fans will prevent the oil stench. I ordered a selection of nigiri and rolls, they were fine. Not great. Prices were reasonable given its awesome location. I won’t be back.

This restaurant was great until it was not. Sushi was good until I was eating and saw a cockroach run by my feet. So beware before eating here that this is not normal behavior for customers to see a cockroach run by their feet while eating food. Please have your restaurant checked by a local health agency or have some sanitation policies in place to ensure that this does not happen again and ruin someone’s meal.

Visiting from out of town, and was greeted by nice people. It is very clean, clean tables, no sticky seats, TV, and overall a 5/5 area. Service was great, and food was out in less than 10 mins. Food was delicious my dad even got seconds ! Very much recommend.
