An incredible meal. Service was impeccable, nice and relaxing atmosphere. The food - 10/10, delicious, balance, and well presented. I had small sake with the meal, and it paired very well, finished dry. I would come back every season to experience the new menu, that's how much I enjoyed ShinBay.
The best Japanese dining experience in Phoenix. Rivals the top omakase places in Las Vegas or Los Angeles. Delicious imaginative menu, the freshest ingredients and chef and the sou chefs are all very likable people. I have went there every month since last fall and I am still impressed by this restaurant every time.

1. I’m about 160lb moderate appetite and I have left hungry each time. I even ate beforehand on my second visit and still left hungry. It feels like it needs another 20-30% more food/courses.
2. There’s only 6-8 nigiri, which for $250 feels like there’s an opportunity to add a few more courses to be comparable to other omakases.
