Walked in at 7:50 and the barista closed down everything. She was talking bad mouthing other coworkers with another coworker who was off. I asked for a water and she refused. And then talked about me to her coworker as I walked away and then began gossiping about coworkers again.

Unfriendly, obviously too busy to care. Your one job is to make customers feel welcome. That means when you make eye contact you greet the customer, not turn your head and look the other way lol. Also you're not a teenager you should know better. And not offering "what else I can get for you". You lost a sale cause I usually get a muffin too. Won't be coming back to this location anytime soon.
I enjoy stopping in and grabbing a cup while I shop at target. Two of my fav places! Great customer service.
