“So overall it was cool. An odd start that finished beautifully. Our waitress and manager were awesome and attentive to us. The hostess could benefit from more training in customer service. I recommend the Triple Dipper and the chocolate molten cake which was on the house per our wonderful waitress. It was packed so that's how you know it's a good spot to try.“

“We had a delightful evening on the patio. The service and food were excellent. Be sure to try the corn and poblano quesadilla. We all ate the Rita's Burrito Bowl prepared as we wished - for me double pinto beans and no rice with chicken. The only not delightful thing was having to pay $20 for a confirmed table on the patio when there were only 2 other diners on the patio.“

“Love love love this place! They are so good to me when i bring my kids, they take the time to help situate them with me (twin stroller, iykyk) They are so sweet with bringing out all the mandarin oranges and french fries for these little picky toddlers and all the servers and staff have been so so sweet every time i come in! i appreciate that when going to a restaurant! it's not easy going out with 3 under 3, so when you find a place that treats you good and not a burden it needs to be praised! Plus all the food is good!“

“It was OK. Not bad, not amazing but just OK. Service was pretty quick and I would go back but there are local taco places that do amazing tacos, this just isn't one of them. Again it's ok, just not amazing..and there are amazing taco places in Arizona.“

Kid-friendliness: Noisy on a Saturday evening but there were plenty of kids in the place. They have colouring/puzzle sheets to keep the kids busy while they wait for their food.

“I don't think the 2 most recent reviews are truthful. I eat here once a week. This is an amazing taco shop. They way they make your food to order is awesome. Like chipotle but actually good. You order they turn around and make your burrito/tacos and then move down the line of toppings/salsa.Every vege and sauce is soo flavorful.They even have pickled onions!I could have just reported them but that doesn't show how wrong they are. Below are WHY they are inaccurate, or just lies.The most recent, said they used a microwave. Which no, they do not, you order, they turn around and grill.The 2nd one is just inaccurate; the way they described ordering isn't correct with how this restaurant does it. You order what you want any they turn around and make it before moving down the line for toppings. So you don't even sit down before getting your food.“

“I was amazed at how delicious the tacos were. My fish and shrimp tacos were crispy and seasoned perfectly whole the tortillas were soft and delicious. The portions are huge. The staff was too notch! If you are looking for great food, a great atmosphere that won’t break the bank, please look no further!!!!“

We found it....Cocina Madrigal was exactly what we were looking for...We actually sat at the bar since there was a short wait for a table. I was here with a college friend who lived out of the state also. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. We had the combination Taco/Burros/Tamales/Enchiladas...Our gracious bartend/waitress suggested the perfect way they should be prepared. All the employees were very friendly and make you feel incredibly welcomed. Highly recommend and we will return when we are traveling through Phoenix..“
