The outdoor dining is good sized and has heating when needed. I love the options for building your own bowls and burritos. They have lots of tasty vegetarian and vegan options. Love that this restaurant has vegan cheese.
I almost forgot to mention the service, everyone was very helpful and friendly.

The tortilla soup was way too hot (spicy for me). I also thought the queso was too spicy, but my friend liked it.
It’s a little different than your typical restaurant. You order at the counter or on your phone at the table.
Food was mediocre and nothing really amazing. I got the quesadilla while my friend got the al pastor chicken bowl. Unfortunately we didn’t finish either.

The Street Corn En Fuego and taco combo with chips and guacamole are standout dishes, with well-seasoned tortilla chips. While some customers have experienced issues with the app ordering system, the food quality alone deserves a high rating. The restaurant is allergy-friendly and offers vegan options, and the churro waffles and refreshing drinks are customer favorites. Despite occasional service and cleanliness concerns, Tocaya Modern Mexican provides a pleasant dining experience with excellent food options.
